The Eparchial Youth and Young Adult Ministry provides vision, planning, coordination and implementation for the Eparchy’s efforts in ministry to youth from 6th – 12th Grade and young adults from 18 to 35 years of age.

The goals of such efforts are:

          1. To foster spiritual growth in youth and young adults
          2. To empower youth and young adults to discover their purpose
          3. To identify, challenge and engage youth and adults in leadership
          4. To equip and provide resources for leaders in youth and young ministry

World Youth Day 2016 - Krakow

July 12-31, 2016

The countdown for World Youth Day 2016 has begun!

Counting Down To the travelling of WYD pilgrims to Ukraine and Poland in the Summer of 2016. Deadline has been extended to mid-January, so if  you are still interested in going to WYD 2016 please contact Sarah Buchko, Eparchial Youth Minister, at uwitness2youth@gmail.com.

The trip is approx. $4200. The next instalment will be February 1st at $1650. The last instalment will be on April 1st for $2000. If you are interested in simply staying for the last week then that will cost approximately $3000. For 2 weeks then that cost will be $3500. All remaining cash will be returned to the pilgrims after the trip.   For More Information »»

Upcoming Youth and Young Adult Events:

 

"Blessed are the Merciful" - Young Adults Retreat - February 12-14 - Saskatoon

What is mercy? If you would like to know more about what mercy is or rediscover the meaning then come to the "Blessed are the Merciful" Young Adults Retreat to learn more. We will also have a dance, fun activities and the opportunity to get to know each other while we reflect on mercy with Fr. Gregory Hrynkiw and Sarah Donnelly.

Why:  To learn, reflect, and grow in mercy.

Who:  Ukrainian Catholic Youth and Young Adults (ages 18-35)

What:  A weekend to join with youth and young adults across SK for a weekend of fun, spiritual development, recreation and friendship.

 Where: Bishop Chancery, Saskatoon, SK (214 Ave M S)

Costs: The registration fee is $40. ($26 dollars for the Room Escape, $14 dollars for registration cost, Cheques can be made out to the Eparchy of Saskatoon. Meals provided. You may want ask your parish if they will sponsor your registration fee and travel costs.)
